Jay Hsiao

Jay came to the College of Veterinary Medicine from OSU’s Nisonger Center Transition Services where he served as a technology specialist. At Nisonger, Jay designed, implemented, and co-taught skills training programs using Backward Design processes. He facilitated research and program data operations, developed universally accessible web designs, and trained staff and program participants.

Jay has a Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University and is working on a second master’s degree in Learning Technologies. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University.

Jay is especially interested in the following topics: Universal Design for Learning, affordability and accessibility for all students, as well as innovative and effective integration of technologies in teaching and learning.
